To kick off the semester, Artists in Medicine has presented “Spring into AIM!” for the first GBM of the Spring 2024 semester! During this event we introduced our club, artwork sign-up forms, and the general body members participated in a little Eboard guessing game. We also learned about why we are allergic to pollen through a visual teaching project and we enjoyed looking at plant-based independent artworks. Afterward, we had a relaxing, chill night of painting artificial plant pots with the markers, stickers, and decorations provided by Artists in Medicine.
We sincerely thank everyone who was able to make it to the event and all photos can be found here! For the slides, visit the link here.
Thank you to everyone who supported Artists in Medicine through our limited time Valentine’s themed fundraiser, “Cupid’s Shop”. In this fundraiser, we were able to bring back our high in demand keychain shop featuring handmade clay keychains and crocheted keychains. We were also able to bring back stickers of our beloved mascot Osler along with a limited edition Cupid Osler. Along with that, we presented the Cupid Bundle consisting of a unique, handmade, customized card with a goodie bag and an artificial rose, for your special someone!

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Artists in Medicine teamed up with Tzu Chi and Art Club to bring you a Valentine’s Day themed event where we learned about the respective clubs, admired lung-themed artworks, learned about the lungs, and created an artistic collage of the lungs that will be displayed in the Health Science Library! We were also able to bring home aromatherapy essential oils room sprays, and the winners of our lung quiz won special Valentine’s themed prizes! There was no better way of enjoying post-Valentine’s than with our clubs enjoying a variety of snacks, drinks, and romantic songs!
Thank you to everyone who came and contributed to the collage! To view the slides you can click the link here and for the photos click here!
